but it doesn’t have to be!

FAQ
How many outfits and props can they have?
Bring what you want to wear, this is about them! You can have as many or as little as you want. The one thing I tell clients is the more changes, the less time for photos. If your senior has a lot of changes or props be sure to schedule the correct amount of time.
With props bring what you want as well. Please let me know what you want to bring so we can make sure we have the proper location, for example, a skateboard and flower-field, probably not the best location...
While I love animals, any live animal please reach out as we need to make sure the location allows for animals, unless it's your own residence of course. With all animals, I do require you to have control of them the entire time for their protection and everyone involved (e.g. a leash, halter, crate, etc.) Leashes can be edited out. ;)
Do parents have to come?
If the Senior is a minor, yes, 18+, I highly suggest you do. It's not only a great way to spend time with your child, but also to have someone helping your senior. It also ensures everyone gets the shots they want to see. I always have a little surprise with parents at the end too. ;)
Where do you go for Senior Sessions?
Everywhere and anywhere! I travel all over West Michigan for senior sessions. A travel fee will be charged for 1 hour outside of Kalamazoo.
What about yearbook requests?
I have had clients from multiple schools in the West Michigan area and every yearbook is differnt. Most of the time you'll receive directions from the school on their requirements (sizing, pose, background, etc.). I suggest you connect with your school prior to the session for any background requirements etc. so we can make sure the correct photos are taken in addition to the rest of the session. Please, send or bring along any literature you get so we can make sure your Senior makes it in the yearbook! This is the responsibility of the clients, I do not reach out to schools on your behalf to obtain the requirements.
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 3 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
Typically clients receive 100-200 photos. I average about 100 photos an hour give or take.
Do you print photos?
I can, through the Gallery you receive you have the ability to print through my labs right on there and have them shipped to your house. The benefit to that is my labs and computers are color corrected to match each other, where as a 3rd party is not.
Are the photos edited?
Yes, I edited the photos for picture quality as well as small blemishes. Larger editing project would need to be discussed and priced.
How do I book?
First connect with me either through the site, email, or phone. Tell me what you're looking to do and about your senior. Then I send a portrait contract with a $25 retainer* (via email) that goes towards the session final price.
*Retainer fee is non-refundable**
