Boots, a guitar, and the dreams ahead

I had the distinguished honor of taking Ellie's senior photos. I've known Ellie since she was born, her dad basically being my 3rd eldest brother I got stuck with, is one my brother's eldest friends, so we're talking a few (plus) decades of history here. BUT, what a session we had, Michigan weather was in rare form giving us rain clouds, cold wind, and dramatic skies, but we pulled it off, shivered a little, and took some amazing shots! Ellie gave her shoot a lot of thought, she had brought along the props she wanted, the clothes she loves, a dingy worn chair (which we love), and made her Senior shoot, HER, shoot. I'm just glad to have been the one to be there for her. Like all Senior sessions we're saying goodbye to our youth, graduating, and entering the world as a young adult and I think this young lady has bright path ahead. So, best of luck to Ellie as she graduates the class of 2024.

P.s. I've also included a shot of her from when she was a youngin' (3 years old).
