An at home dream

Intimate weddings are always so much fun because you get the chance to really be part of a big day with a small footprint, and sometimes they deliver on a huge scale. Picture this, an early September morning and fog as far as the eye can see... which isn't far. Some brides may have freaked out, but Colleen, she embraced it! Then, the sun starts coming up and the fog lingers, but dissipates a bit, creating a unique dream like backdrop for some pretty amazing shots, if I do say so myself. The fog and the sun at Colleen's parents' perfectly pristine property really delivered, I could have probably shot their all day and still have found new places to shoot. Their energy was so captivating and I really had a great time capturing their special day. Everything was at home about this event, from the setting, to the makeup, to the flowers, the way everyone in their lives came together for these two was great to be a part of and capture the love they share and the love their family and friends share for them.
